In the early 1800s a company known only as The Conglomerate took hold of the United States bringing with them advanced technology that no one could have imagined. As if overnight it had taken hold of the fragile young country, with the Gilbreath family at the forefront of this sudden revolution.

Fear of the power, motives, and methods of the Gilbreath family and their company gave rise to The Chargehands; a resistance bent on their destruction. A militant group who was willing to stop at nothing to end the monopoly the Conglomerate held over these reducible advancements.

At the center of this conflict is the mysterious element known only as Blossom and Reverie Maddoks, the young woman who found herself caught in the crossfire of this shadow war and who is possibly the one person who can drag all of the secrets into the light, but is she willing to pay the price to reveal the truth, or will she become a part of the growing darkness?
